Tips for your teacher resume

  • Name the grade levels, subjects and number of sections you handle.
  • Show student results: assessment scores, passing rates, competition placements.
  • Include advisory, coaching and committee work, since schools hire for more than classroom teaching.
  • For DepEd applications, also follow the required forms; a clear resume still helps for private schools and international posts.

Common questions

What should a teacher put on a resume with no teaching experience?+

Your license or board exam status, practice teaching with the school, grade level and subjects, plus tutoring, volunteer teaching and relevant trainings.

Do I need to list seminars and trainings?+
