Fresh Graduate resume example
With no full-time job yet, your internship, thesis and organization work are your experience. Describe them the way you would describe a job: what you did and what came of it. Keep it to one page and put education near the top.
A fresh graduate summary you can adapt
Marketing graduate with internship experience in social media and market research. Ran a student organization's campaigns that grew its page from 800 to 3,500 followers. Looking for an entry-level marketing role.
Two or three sentences: who you are, how long you have done it, and the strongest proof. Replace the details with your own.

Tips for your fresh graduate resume
- Put education above experience and include honors, a relevant thesis, or a strong GWA if you have one.
- Treat internships and org positions as jobs: start each bullet with what you did, then the result.
- Use numbers even for school work: people led, money raised, attendance, followers gained.
- Leave out elementary and high school, and personal details like age, religion and civil status.
Common questions
What do I put on a resume with no work experience?+
Internship or OJT, thesis or capstone, organization roles, volunteer work, freelance or part-time jobs, and relevant coursework. Describe what you did and the result, the same way you would for a job.
Should I include my GWA?+
Include it if it is strong or if the job post asks for it. Latin honors and Dean's List are worth a line under your degree.
Is a one-page resume enough for a fresh graduate?+
Yes. One clear page reads better than two thin ones, and it is what most recruiters expect from a new graduate.
