Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Dhen Mark Torreno, which operates HiredBound (“the service”). By creating an account or using the service you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal data and is part of these terms.

• You must be 18 or older, or use the service with the consent of a parent or guardian.
• Give a real email address you control. It is how we verify your account and reset your password.
• Keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens in your account; tell us promptly if you think someone else has used it.
• One person, one account. Do not share an account to get around plan limits.

You own what you create. Your resumes, cover letters, signatures, photos and videos remain yours. We add no watermark or branding to your documents.

You give us permission to store, process and display your content only as needed to run the service for you — for example to save it, render it as a PDF or Word file, and show it to people you share a link with.

You are responsible for your content. In particular:

• Keep it true. A resume is a statement to an employer. Do not include qualifications, employers or experience that are not real. Suggestions from our tools are suggestions; you decide what goes in.
• Only upload photos, images and text that you have the right to use.
• Do not upload anything unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit or that infringes someone else's rights.

Please do not:

• use the service to send spam, to impersonate someone else, or to mislead employers;
• try to access other people's accounts or data, or probe, overload or disrupt the service;
• copy, scrape or resell the templates, designs or the service itself;
• use automated tools to create accounts or documents in bulk.

Our templates and designs are licensed to you for making your own job-application documents. That licence covers the documents you export; it does not let you redistribute the templates.

When you create a tracked resume link or share a video, anyone with the link can see that content until you switch the link off, make the video private or delete it.

Tracked links tell you when a link was opened, for how long, from what kind of device, and whether the PDF was downloaded. You are responsible for using them lawfully and fairly toward the people you send them to. Details are in the Privacy Policy.

The Free plan includes 12 templates, 1 resume, 1 cover letter and 1 email signature, plus the ATS checker. Without Pro or a credit spent on it, a resume or cover letter downloads as a watermarked preview: a picture of each page that cannot be read by applicant tracking systems and is not meant to be sent to employers. The real PDF and the PDF editor need Pro or credits; the Word (.docx) file needs Pro (Monthly or Annual). The free trial does not count as Pro for downloads.

Pro is sold as prepaid time: Monthly (30 days) for ₱449, Annual (365 days) for ₱1,990. Credits are sold in packs: 5 credits for ₱99, 15 credits for ₱249. Prices are in Philippine pesos and may change for future purchases.

One credit buys one of: clean downloads of one resume or cover letter for 30 days, one AI action (tailoring, a cover letter or an Apply Kit — the kit includes clean downloads of its resume and letter), or one PDF downloaded from the PDF editor (downloading the same original PDF again within 30 days is free). Credits do not expire and cannot be exchanged for cash. A credit spent on an AI action that fails is given back automatically.

• No subscription. Monthly, Annual and credit packs are one-time payments. Nothing renews by itself and we never charge you again automatically.
• Time stacks. Buying Monthly or Annual again adds its days on top of the time you have left.
• When Pro ends your account returns to the Free plan, plus any credits you have. Nothing is deleted: your documents stay, and you can still open and download those that use free templates. Pro-only features pause until you buy more time or use a credit.
• Payments are processed by PayMongo (GCash, Maya or card). We do not see or store your card or wallet details.

All payments are final and non-refundable — Monthly, Annual and credit packs alike, including time or credits you have not used yet. Pro and credits start working the moment you pay, so please check the plan before you buy. Ending your use of HiredBound early, or deleting your account, does not entitle you to a refund.

The only exceptions:

• You were charged twice or by mistake — the extra charge is refunded to the original payment method.
• A problem on our side kept you from using Pro features for a significant part of your pass — we add the lost days back to your account (not a cash refund).

To ask, email support@hiredbound.com within 7 days of the payment and include your payment reference (it is on your receipt). Nothing here limits rights you have under Philippine consumer law that cannot be waived.

HiredBound helps you make clear, well-structured application documents. We cannot guarantee an interview, a job offer, or a particular result from any employer or applicant tracking system.

• The ATS score and checks are guidance based on our own rules. Each employer's system behaves differently.
• “ATS verified” means a template passed our own test that its PDF text extracts in reading order. It is not a certification by any employer or software vendor.
• AI suggestions and imported resumes can contain mistakes. Always review the result before you send it.

We work to keep the service available and your data safe, and we keep backups, but the service is provided “as is” and may be interrupted. Keep your own copies of important documents — you can download them at any time. We may add, change or remove features; if we remove something you paid for, we will give reasonable notice or a fair remedy.

• You can delete your account at any time in Settings. Your documents, videos and links are deleted with it.
• We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, or where the law requires it. Where it is reasonable we will warn you first and let you export your data.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as a missed job opportunity or lost income, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. This does not exclude liability that cannot be excluded under Philippine law.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. We will try to resolve any dispute with you directly first. If that fails, the courts of the Philippines have jurisdiction.

We may update these terms as the service changes. We will change the date at the top and, for significant changes, tell you by email or in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.
