A project manager summary you can adapt

Two or three sentences: who you are, how long you have done it, and the strongest proof. Replace the details with your own.

Bullet points that work

Project Manager

  • Delivered 7 web and mobile application projects for banking and retail clients, with budgets from ₱8 million to ₱40 million.
  • Completed 6 of 7 projects on or before the agreed date and all within 5% of approved budget.
  • Lead cross-functional teams of 10 to 18 developers, testers, designers and business analysts using Scrum with 2-week sprints.
  • Introduced a change request process that reduced unplanned scope additions from about 9 to 3 per project.

Project Coordinator

  • Tracked schedules, action items and risks for 4 concurrent ERP implementation projects.
  • Prepared weekly status reports for 12 client stakeholders and ran project meetings.
  • Coordinated user acceptance testing with 60 client users over 3 testing cycles.

Each one says what was done and gives a number. Use your real figures; an honest small number beats a vague claim.

Tips for your project manager resume

  • Give each project a size: budget, team count and duration.
  • State your delivery record directly, such as 6 of 7 projects on time.
  • Name the industry and type of project, since employers hire for similar work.
  • Put PMP or other certifications in the summary as well as the certifications section.

Common questions

Is PMP required to be a project manager in the Philippines?+

No, but many job posts list it as preferred, especially in IT, construction and shared services. Experience delivering projects counts first, and PMP strengthens the application.

What should a project manager resume include?+

The projects you led with budget, team size and timeline, your results on schedule and cost, your method and tools, and certifications. Keep to the projects most like the job you are applying for.

How do I move into project management from another role?+

Show the project work you already did in your current role: coordinating people, tracking schedules, reporting to stakeholders. Project coordinator and project officer jobs are the usual first step.
