Tips for your sales associate resume

  • Lead with your sales numbers: percent of quota, average monthly sales, branch ranking.

  • Include product categories you know well, such as appliances, gadgets, cosmetics or apparel.
  • Add awards like Top Seller or Employee of the Month with the month and year.

Common questions

What if my store did not give individual quotas?+

Use other numbers: customers served per day, items handled, team sales against target, or add-on sales you made.

Should I include my height or age?+

No. Leave out personal details unless a job post explicitly requires them; your experience and results matter more.

Is a high school graduate resume different?+

Use the same layout. Put work experience first and list your highest education completed, plus any TESDA or short courses.
