Electrician resume example
Contractors and building managers check your license or TESDA certificate, then the kind of work you have done: residential, commercial or industrial. Show project sizes, the systems you install or maintain, and your safety and inspection record.
An electrician summary you can adapt
Registered master electrician with 8 years of experience in residential and mid-rise building wiring. Leads a 6-person crew, works to the Philippine Electrical Code and has a clean inspection and safety record.
Two or three sentences: who you are, how long you have done it, and the strongest proof. Replace the details with your own.
Bullet points that work
Lead Electrician

- Completed rough-in and device installation for 96 condominium units 2 weeks ahead of the project schedule.
- Test every circuit for insulation resistance and continuity before turnover, with no failed items in the last 3 electrical inspections.
- Hold daily toolbox meetings; the crew has worked 18 months with no lost-time accident.
Electrician
- Wired 40+ houses and small commercial units following the Philippine Electrical Code.
- Handled about 15 repair calls a week for tripping breakers, faulty outlets and motor controls.

- Describe the type and size of projects: houses, number of units, storeys, or plant equipment.
- Include your safety record and inspection results; they matter as much as speed.
- Applying abroad? List the voltage levels, equipment and standards you have worked with, and your total years of experience.
Common questions
What certificates should an electrician put on a resume?+
Your TESDA Electrical Installation and Maintenance NC II or NC III, your PRC Registered Master Electrician license if you have one, and safety training such as COSH. Give the date for each.
Can I work as an electrician without a PRC license?+
Many employers hire TESDA NC II holders to work under a licensed practitioner. Roles that take charge of or sign for installations need an RME or a registered electrical engineer.
How do I write an electrician resume for jobs abroad?+
State your years of experience, project types, equipment handled and certificates clearly, and follow the format the agency gives you. Most agencies also ask for a detailed list of duties per employer.
